To mark World Alzheimer’s Month, Person Centred Software co-founder and director Jonathan Papworth explains why fully integrated digital care systems are the future for better dementia care.

September marks the tenth edition of the vital global awareness-raising campaign - World Alzheimer’s Month. Every September, people come together from all around the world to bring attention to dementia and challenge the stigma that exists around the condition.

This month's campaign will focus on the warning signs of dementia, encouraging people to seek out information, advice and support.

According to the Alzheimer’s Society, there are currently around 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK. However, this is projected to rise to 1.6m by 2040.
