New training division to launch

Paterson Health & Social Care and Paterson Training have added the Dementia Care & Nursing Home Expo to a growing list of events it will be attending in 2019.

The exhibition takes place on the 26 and 27 March 2019 at Birmingham’s NEC.

The two specialist brands from The Paterson Group will provide individuals and companies with a comprehensive overview of their unique strategies, developed to support the industries they serve with the provision of passionate, high quality and effectively trained staff. The group will also launch its new training division with a practical dementia awareness session in the seminar theatre.

Paterson Training is the group’s new stand-alone, nationwide training division. The company’s in-house team of experienced trainers provide relevant and up to date development and compliance training for incumbent staff and its roster of workers, as well as fulfilling client training requirements and branching out into new sectors across the UK. The accredited Theory & Practical or Online E-Learning course content goes towards continuing professional development, encouraging learners to progress and grow within their roles.

Operations manager, Andrea Edwards, explains: “We continually review and adapt aspects of our recruitment and training packages to ensure we remain at the cutting edge for those looking to recruit quality staff into this highly demanding sector.

"Facing the challenges of an ageing population makes it vital that we continue to stick to our basic principles of constant support and training for our workers while offering high quality, cost efficient support to clients.”
