The Care & Dementia Show, which was held at the NEC in Birmingham on 11-12 October, and Care in Construction, which was co-located with the main event, have been declared a success by show organiser UBM, after attracting 2,459 attendees
The show achieved a four per cent growth in attendees, with industry professionals including residential nursing and care home owners, home care providers, and representatives from local authorities and construction companies, who travelled to the NEC from across the UK. These professionals were joined at the show by 78 expert speakers and over 200 leading suppliers.
The show also recorded a 26 per cent growth in the number of care providers and a 65 per cent growth in construction professionals who attended.
Speaking about the event, Chris Edwards, Care & Dementia Show brand director, says: “Having redesigned the event completely for 2016, we were delighted by the response both from visitors and exhibitors. “
